Today in class, I was grading some Internet research worksheets on monasticism -- just some basic information about monks and nuns since we are studying them in class as part of church history.
One of the questions on my worksheet read: "Name 3 rules that monks may have to follow in their communities." This is what one of my students wrote...
"The vow of syllabusy."
What??? (puzzled silence..........yeah, I had to think about it for a few seconds, and then....)
